Research shows that children experience a summer learning loss across reading and mathematics in about one month. It's important to keep our kids actively learning and engaged all summer along, but more importantly to give them some back to school preparation before heading back in the Fall. We’ve compiled a list of five easy learning activities you can use with our Alphapals as interactive teaching tools to keep the learning fun with summer school at home.
  1. READ — Reading four to five books over the summer has a positive impact on reading achievement comparable to attending summer school. Grab a few of their favorite books and turn it into an interactive learning game by choosing a few words from the books to ask your kids to spell out using your Alphapals sets. Using 3D letters as a learning tool helps improve a child's concentration and ability to process information better.
